Resveratrol: A Delicious Way To Improve Memory, Mood and Protect Your Heart

Blueberries 1I know that many of you read my blog posts in search of tips that keep you healthy, are natural, and have no side effects. I’ve tried to keep my health tips simple because I know that the more complicated activities become, the less we stick with them.

I have a great new study to tell you about today! The researchers found protection against memory loss and against depression – I like it already. The study, published in the journal Scientific Reports, found that resveratrol did better than just slowing the age-related decline of memory in rats, it actually improved it (Kodali et al., 2015). Resveratrol has already shown promise for protecting against heart disease. In this study, the rats were also less depressed.

Professor Shetty said, “The study provides novel evidence that resveratrol treatment in late middle age can help improve memory and mood function in old age.”

Here is the easy part. Resveratol is found in:
Red wine
The Skin of Red Grapes
Peanut Butter
Dark Chocolate
Blueberries

You don’t need to twist my arm to get me to consume more of these items.
